Welcome to Wild Root Remedies. 

We believe that true nourishment comes from the earth, proper chemistry, botany, and a deep respect for nature. What started as a personal journey into self-taught herbalism and soapmaking has grown into an intentional, home-based apothecary dedicated to bringing clean, functional, and restorative products into your daily routine. 

Conscious Chemistry & Ecology

Tallow: We utilize grass-fed beef tallow as our primary foundation. It is a deeply nourishing, bioavailable ingredient that matches the skin's lipid profile. We use both suet and trimmings fat in our products, as we believe it is best practice to use the entire cow.

Soapmaking: We formulate both traditional cold-processed soaps and specialized glycerin bars. For our glycerin bars, we skip saponification and infuse medicinal herbs directly into the soap base for a potent extraction. 

Small-Batch: Everything is formulated, poured, and packaged by hand on our property.

Wild Root Remedies is part of a larger vision - Wild Root Acres - our developing cut flower farm and medicinal garden in Kershaw, SC- our mission is to cultivate a place of education and natural wellness.

My name is Aja, and I am a student of the earth. My mission is twofold: to craft uncompromising, nutrient-dense skincare that honors botanical science, and to cultivate this land into a thriving micro-medicinal farm. I see Wild Root evolving into a local anchor for herbal self-reliance, transparent education, and community interdependence. I don't just want to sell apothecary goods; I want to grow a collective resource right here in the soil, in Kershaw, proving that the deepest healing is found when we return to our roots.
